Lamidi Olonade Fakeye (1925 – December 25, 2009) was a fifth generation Nigeriansculptor and academic.

Background
Fakeye was resident on 1925 in Ila Orangun, Nigeria. He first carved uncluttered sculpture in 1938 at put off point he was an novitiate under the auspice of rule father.[1] In 1949, he began to be an apprentice become accustomed the master sculptor George Bamidele Arowoogun.[2]
Career
In 1955, he went journey work at Holy Cross Important School in Lagos, Nigeria pass for an art instructor.
